This year, Responsible Gaming Education Week (RGEW) takes place Sept. 19-25, 2021. Established in 1998, RGEW was created to address the challenges associated with problem gambling and to promote responsible gaming nationwide.
As part of Responsible Gaming Week, Pavilion Payments has become the newest partner to join AGA’s Have A Game Plan. ® Bet Responsibly.™ public service campaign. Initially launched in 2019, the campaign encourages patrons to follow a game plan, ensuring safe and responsible wagering as the legal sports betting market expands. The critical parts of this initiative include the following:
- Set a budget and stick to it.
- Keep it social: play with friends, family, and colleagues.
- Be informed: learn the details of the games you’re playing.
- Play with trusted licensed, regulated operators.
As a partner, Pavilion Payments will incorporate Have a Game Plan into its social media channels and customer-facing marketing. Additionally, Pavilion Payments has dedicated its weekly blog series to raising awareness about the importance of responsible gaming throughout September.
“Pavilion Payments is deeply committed to responsible gaming – and this is why we’re proud to join the Have A Game Plan initiative to promote responsible wagering,” said Christopher Justice, president of Pavilion Payments. “Our success depends on continuing to build strong relationships with our customers rooted in education and responsibility.”
Pavilion Payments joins campaign partners across the sports betting landscape, including DraftKings, FanDuel, Monumental Sports and Entertainment, NASCAR, the NHL, the PGA TOUR, SeventySix Capital, Sightline Payments, Sinclair Broadcast Group, UFC, Vegas Golden Knights, and the Washington Football Team.
Moving forward, Pavilion Payments will continue to devote time and resources to raising awareness about the importance of responsible gaming. More than 3.5 million patrons rely on Pavilion Payments’ solutions for simple, safe, and responsible play.
