As the American Gaming Association's (AGAResponsible Gaming Education Week (RGEW) kicks off September 19-25, 2021, Pavilion Payment's President, Christopher Justice, an active board member of the AGA, looks at this as another opportunity to reaffirm Pavilion Payments' dedication and commitment to responsible gaming programs.

"While the AGA's program to help educate consumers on the basics of responsible betting and problem gambling awareness is officially from September 19th to the 25th, Pavilion Payments has devoted the entire month of September to raising awareness and supporting programs that address these important topics," said Justice.

For most people, gambling is entertainment - a fun activity nearly everyone can enjoy without harmful effects. But for some, it's not just a game - it's a serious problem that continues even after the fun is gone.

Pavilion Payments, which complies with the AGA's Responsible Gaming Code of Conduct, advocates the AGA's Have a Game Plan. Bet Responsibly™ public service campaign. The company is proud to join other leading companies and sports leagues, including UFC, NASCAR, and the PGA Tour, to help educate consumers on the basics of responsible betting while increasing awareness of problem gambling.

Additionally, Pavilion Payments is partnering with the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) International Gaming Institute to analyze the gaming industry's transition toward cashless wagering. This research will be housed in the Responsible and Cashless Gaming Solutions Research Collaborative. The work will provide a scientific, data-driven foundation for policymakers and regulators to make sound decisions in the future.

Pavilion Payment's commitment to responsible gaming extends even further with its development of the Gambling Addiction Intervention Network (GAIN), which provides gaming establishments with a powerful tool to help encourage responsible gaming. A simple user interface allows establishments to manage patron entries which instantly exclude patrons from completing both check and cash advance transaction services provided by Pavilion Payments.
